Watched as this number slowly then quickly kept going south. Now I'm ready to go the other way. Just my opinion, but neither team will be able to run much tonight.
When teams can't run what do they do? Yes you are correct, THEY PASS. Throwing the football lengthens the game and allows for more plays which typically leads to more scoring chances.
I know it will be bone chilling cold and the football is tougher to catch and blah blah blah. This game will be won through the air and I believe the Patriots hold the distinct advantage.
The Titans can stop the run with the best of them, but tonight it is their very mediocre pass defense that will be their downfall. Looking for Brady and company to get chances to expose the secondary and linebackers of the Titans.
The other key factor is the poor punting of the Patriots. This should give the Titans some short fields to work with and hence more scoring opportunities.
So there is my simple mans analysis.
